CPA residential and small business customers now have access to friendly experts who can help with planning energy upgrades, finding financial rebates to save money, and offering tips to lower monthly electric bills all, at no cost to customers. And our experts are only a chat, email or phone call away.
The new Energy Team service has been launched to provide customers in Los Angeles and Ventura counties with unbiased guidance on a wide range of opportunities including upgrading fossil-fuel appliances at home to electric models. The service also offers a rebate finder tool to locate available resources to lower upgrade and installation costs, including those newly offered through the federal government’s Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program, which will provide $290 million in rebates to Californians over the next two years.
Homeowners, renters, multifamily property managers, and small business owners can receive help on topics such as installing EV chargers, installing electric heat pump water heaters, as well as useful information on how to lower monthly electricity bills.
The Energy Team is comprised of real people – not AI or chatbots – who offer personalized technical assistance in multiple languages as well as virtual energy assessments and custom electrification plans, while linking customers with contractor-finding tools, and assistance with tax credits and referrals to CPA programs.
The virtual energy assessment allows customers the opportunity to use the camera on their smartphone or video device to connect with an Energy Team expert to assess their needs and receive a customized electrification plan based on their current appliances, electrical panel, and electricity usage.
The Energy Team website provides links to resources to find a contractor to complete a project, and expertise in evaluating contractor bids before customers begin any modifications.
The Energy Team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit cleanpoweralliance.org/energyteam to learn more or contact representatives directly by phone at 866-982-3080 or by email at EnergyTeam@cleanpoweralliance.org to get started.
