  • Accounting Manager

    The Accounting Manager will perform the key accounting functions including month-end close process, balance sheet account reconciliations, annual financial audit and ad-hoc accounting projects.

  • Database Administrator

    The Database Administrator will be responsible for architecting and managing some of our most critical system databases, applications, and platforms including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.

  • People and Culture Manager

    The People and Culture Manager will assist with routine functions of the P&C department including coordinating recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes, administering pay, benefits and leave, training, and administering company policies and practices. This is an outstanding opportunity to be creative and to help build the People and Culture department for a rapidly growing organization.

  • Project Manager, Origination & Contract Management

    The Project Manager, Origination & Contract Management will focus on supporting solicitations for long-term renewable and storage resources and the management of CPA’s portfolio of power supply resources, which includes over 2,000 MW of new solar, wind, and battery storage assets.

  • Project Manager, Power Supply & Compliance

    The Project Manager, Power Supply & Compliance will provide compliance, analytical, and other support to our growing Power Supply team, and support additional functions including procurement of renewable, carbon free, conventional energy, demand response, and resource adequacy products to contribute toward CPA’s target portfolio mix.

  • Senior Manager, Power Origination

    The Senior Manager, Power Origination will manage CPA’s short and mid-term energy positions and lead procurement activities as part of CPA’s Power Supply team. This position will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, conducting energy and Resource Adequacy procurement solicitations, originating and negotiating short and mid-term structured transactions and power purchase agreements, and ensuring compliance with CPA’s Energy Risk Management Policy (ERMP).

  • Senior Middle Office Risk Analyst

    The Senior Middle Office Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing middle office risk models, performing risk management activities and maintaining and enhancing systems models and processes that support critical risk and procurement analytics and reporting.

    The External Affairs Intern (Content) will report to the Marketing and Communications Associate. You will work with all members of CPA’s External Affairs Team, as well as other members of CPA’s senior management team, elected officials of CPA’s Board of Directors, and have joint assignments with other interns.

Request for Qualifications

Become a Pre-Qualified Provider

CPA is now soliciting responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to become a "Pre-Qualified Provider" (PQP) for a variety of goods and services. The RFQ process is open to anyone who is qualified, and firms within Clean Power Alliance's service territory are especially encouraged to submit their qualifications.  This RFQ will remain open until an updated RFQ is issued.

    Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced financial institutions to structure and market a renewable energy prepayment transaction through a California Joint Powers Authority or conduit issuer. RFP proposals are due by Friday, May 13, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. PST

  • Request for Proposals (RFP) for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Implementation ​Planning Services

    Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide CPA’s management team, board, and staff support in implementing CPA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) plan within the parameters of California’s Proposition 209 (Cal. Const. Art. I, Sec. 31).  CPA was accepting written questions to this RFP until December 30, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. PST.   • 2021 DAC-GT and CS-GT (Power Share) Request for Offers

    Clean Power Alliance is soliciting offers for renewable energy in order to fill its eligible program capacity allocation under the DAC-GT and CS-GT programs, which promote the installation of renewable generation among residential customers in disadvantaged communities.

  • Digital Marketing, Website, and Social Media Support Services RFP

    CPA is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide digital marketing, website, and social media support services as well as design services to support its day-to-day operations in support of the CPA brand as well as specific agency programs and initiatives.   • Request for Proposals (RFP) for Demand Response Program Implementer

    CPA is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced individuals or firms to market, implement, and scale a comprehensive Distributed Energy Resources (DER) based demand response program.   • Expansion Feasibility Studies Task Order

    CPA seeks proposals for a provider to conduct a preliminary CCA feasibility study that examines the potential costs and revenues should selected cities join CPA. The results of the study will inform the selection of a subset of those cities to be the subject of full feasibility assessments in Summer 2021, and a second round of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to be conducted in 2022. CPA was accepting written questions until April 13 at 4:00 p.m. PST. CPA’s responses to the written questions can be found here. An addendum to the Task Order was issued on Friday, April 16, 2021. Task Order proposals are due by Tuesday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. PST.

  • 2020 DAC-GT and CS-GT Request for Offers (RFO)

    CPA is seeking proposals for new, in-front-of-the-meter renewable energy resources for its Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff (DAC-GT) and its Community Solar Green Tariff (CS-GT) programs. Resources must be located in eligible disadvantaged communities. Stakeholders who are not prepared to submit to the 2020 DAC-GT and CS-GT RFO, but who are interested in future RFO cycles, are encouraged to respond to a Request for Information (RFI).
