Joint Rate Comparison Notices

Every year, customers receive Joint Rate Comparison mailers which illustrate the estimated electricity costs with Clean Power Alliance or SCE for typical CARE/FERA residential customers enrolled in the Lean and Clean default communities, as well as the 100% Green default communities, non-CARE residential customers, and small commercial customers. This Joint Rate Comparison mailer was developed in partnership with SCE.

Enrollment Notices

As per state law, Clean Power Alliance new customers will receive a total of four (4) enrollment notices via mail; two (2) before and two (2) after the switch from Southern California Edison (SCE) to Clean Power Alliance during a mass enrollment phase. Clean Power Alliance new customers who are recent move-ins into Clean Power Alliance’s service territory that also weren’t part of a mass enrollment phase will receive a total of two (2) enrollment notices. All past notices are posted below. Any future enrollment notices will also be added here.

New customers will receive a total of two (2) enrollment notices who are recent move-ins into Clean Power Alliance’s service territory.

2020 Residential and Non-Residential Enrollment Notices

Supplemental Enrollment
In December 2020, we will begin service for residential and non-residential customers who experienced a delayed enrollment in 2020 due to a SCE system issue.

In October 2020, we began service for residential and non-residential customers who experienced a delayed enrollment in 2020 due to a SCE system issue.

In September 2020, we began service for residential and non-residential customers who experienced a delayed enrollment in 2020 due to a SCE system issue.

In July 2020, we began service for residential and non-residential customers who experienced a delayed enrollment in 2020 due to a SCE system issue.

Westlake Village Enrollment
We started service in June 2020 for both residential and non-residential customers in Westlake Village. Customers received four (4) letters or notices by mail with information about Clean Power Alliance and the options and benefits we provide.

Default Rate Changes

In October 2020, the default rate for both residential and non-residential customers in Malibu, Sierra Madre, and Rolling Hills Estates changed. Customers received two (2) letters or notices by mail with information about Clean Power Alliance and the options and benefits we provide.

2019 Non-Residential Enrollment Notices

We started service in May 2019 for non-residential customers in the following cities and county (excluding the 3 communities that started non-residential service in 2018): Agoura Hills, Alhambra, Arcadia, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Carson, Claremont, Culver City, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Moorpark, Ojai, Oxnard, Paramount, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Sierra Madre, Simi Valley, Temple City, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, unincorporated Ventura County, West Hollywood, and Whittier. Customers received 4 notices by mail with information about Clean Power Alliance and the options and benefits we provide.

2019 Residential Enrollment Notices

We started service in February 2019 for residential customers in the following cities and counties: Agoura Hills, Alhambra, Arcadia, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Carson, Claremont, Culver City, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, unincorporated Los Angeles County, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Moorpark, Ojai, Oxnard, Paramount, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills Estates, Santa Monica, Sierra Madre, Simi Valley, South Pasadena, Temple City, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, unincorporated Ventura County, West Hollywood, and Whittier. 2018 Non-Residential Enrollment Notices

Service began for municipal and commercial customers in unincorporated Los Angeles County, Rolling Hills Estates, and South Pasadena in June 2018. They received 4 notices via mail in English and Spanish advising them of enrollment in Clean Power Alliance.
