The workforce development partnership between CPA and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) continued this month as two interns began a new three-month learning experience at CPA.
CPA was a $50,000 sponsor of LACI’s inaugural microgrid maintenance training fellowship in the spring. Now, graduates from that program will get more real-world experience working alongside our clean energy professionals.
CPA welcomes interns Christy Amezcua and Jason Hector to our team.
Christy will be working with the Government Affairs team and others, supporting community engagement. Jason will take on a strategic planning role with Operations. Both Christy and Jason have interest in full-time work in the renewable energy industry.
LACI launched the microgrid maintenance training program to prepare participants from underserved communities with the skills to monitor and maintain microgrid systems. Select participants are matched with LACI startups and partners for internships and potential job opportunities.
