Clean Power Alliance leaders and staff recently participated in the California Community Choice Association’s annual conference “Powerful Together” in Irvine, where 870 attendees from clean energy providers across the state collaborated in dynamic sessions and insightful discussions focused on the future of clean energy in California and beyond.
CalCCA has championed the growth of community choice aggregators (CCAs) across California, driving initiatives to lower electricity rates and actively collaborating with CCAs to collect data and explore new opportunities. The organization has also played a pivotal role in mitigating risks, providing valuable data analytics that support the state’s transition to a clean energy future, and ensuring that CCA customers benefit from innovative energy solutions.
Twenty-five CCAs, including CPA, now serve over 14 million people in more than 200 cities and counties – approximately a third of the population of California. CalCCA is dedicated to advancing the development and long-term viability of CCAs throughout California.
CPA was well represented at the event with staff participating in half of the conference panels as well as in several informative sessions.
CPA CEO Ted Bardacke reflected on key takeaways from the conference including how we must continue decarbonization efforts even amid energy industry uncertainty. Watch the full video here – https://youtu.be/oy5ZCbjRu8U.
