  • Accountant

    The Accountant will perform a full range of accounting duties and will be responsible for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing, performing monthly AP and AR reconciliations, and related analysis and reporting.

  • Accounting Manager

    The Accounting Manager will perform the key accounting functions including month-end close process, balance sheet account reconciliations, annual financial audit and ad-hoc accounting projects.

  • Electrification Program Manager

    The Electrification Program Manager will be responsible for implementing CPA’s Building and Transportation Electrification programs. This is a challenging opportunity to play a key role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the building and transportation sectors.

  • External Affairs Administrator

    The External Affairs Administrator will support the routine functions of the External Affairs department including managing and tracking the department budget, scheduling meetings, and supporting department staff in the execution of campaigns. Additionally, the External Affairs Administrator will assist the Clerk of the Board and other CPA staff with tasks associated with CPA’s Board and Committee meetings.

  • Marketing Communications Associate

    The Marketing Communications Associate will develop marketing and communications content including but not limited to website, email, social media, and additional digital communication arenas. This person will lead and support the ongoing development and implementation of marketing and communications with community engagement, education and customer retention at its core.

  • Office Manager

    The Office Manager will develop and maintain high standards for CPA’s headquarters and ensure an efficient working environment for our team and positive image for our brand. The Office Manager will organize office operations and procedures, establish and administer company policies and practices, and provide general office support to ensure smooth operations of the office.

    The Procurement Administrator will manage CPA’s procurement of goods and services to support a wide variety of business needs for a growing organization.   • Project Manager, Power Supply

    The Project Manager, Power Supply will provide compliance, analytical, and other support to our growing power procurement team, as we advance clean energy goals in a way that adheres to the local priorities of our member agencies.

  • Project Manager, Settlements

    The Project Manager, Settlements will oversee settlement processing, validation, and allocation of costs and revenues derived from transactions of wholesale energy, carbon free energy, renewable energy credits, and capacity products conducted through bilateral agreements and the organized California Independent System Operator (CAISO) bulk electric market. The team member will focus on developing and implementing settlements processes and controls to support the management of CPA’s portfolio of power supply resources, which includes over 2,000 MW of new solar, wind, and battery storage assets.

  • Resource Optimization Project Manager

    The Resource Optimization Project Manager will oversee daily performance of CPA’s portfolio of power supply resources, which includes over 2,000 MW of new solar, wind, and battery storage assets. The team member will focus on the management of these new assets by providing analytical, strategic, and other support to our growing power procurement team, as we advance clean energy goals in a way that adheres to the local priorities of our member agencies.

  • Senior Associate, Customer Outreach

    The Senior Associate, Customer Outreach will support community outreach programs on a variety of initiatives including the upcoming default rate changes in three member agencies, working as a point of contact with city staff members developing and implementing community outreach programs and will serve as a back-up for an existing position.

  • Digital Content and Metrics Intern

    The Digital Content and Metrics Intern will assist in the development of digital content, including videos, graphics, and photography, contribute to the development and distribution of communications materials and social media content, and maintain a dashboard of metrics.

  • External Affairs Intern

    The External Affairs Intern will assist in the development of content, including fact sheets, presentations, and press releases; contribute to the development and distribution of communications materials; create member agency profiles and content that can be shared by member agencies; and conduct research on topics such as industry and local government best practices for customer and community engagement.

  • Product Strategy Intern

    The Product Strategy Intern will develop a strategic recommendation related to CPA’s product offerings and work closely with CPA’s Key Accounts, Power Procurement, and External Affairs teams. Interns will also interact with other members of CPA’s senior management team and potentially with business customers across CPA’s service territory.

  • Task Order for Public Affairs/Public Relations Support

    Clean Power Alliance (CPA) is seeking proposals for a provider to give on-call External Affairs support services, including public relations or brand support services, for various projects or programs at the direction of CPA staff, as revised from time to time. CPA was accepting written questions regarding this task order until June 8, 2021. The deadline for bidder proposals to this task order is Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. PST.

  • Request for Qualifications

    CPA is now soliciting responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to become a "Pre-Qualified Provider" (PQP) for a variety of goods and services. The RFQ process is open to anyone who is qualified, and firms within Clean Power Alliance's service territory are especially encouraged to submit their qualifications. This RFQ will remain open until an updated RFQ is issued.

  • Cost of Service Ratemaking Study Task Order

    CPA is seeking a provider to conduct a study that will inform a potential change to the CPA rate setting approach. CPA is planning to conduct this study to: 1) better understand the current landscape of Cost-of-Service rate setting; 2) review potential cost-of-service based rate setting approaches, and; 3) decide whether it will continue to fundamentally follow SCE rate design or deviate significantly in future years. CPA was accepting written questions until April 15, 2021. CPA’s responses to the written questions can be found here. To be eligible for this Addendum, you must have already submitted a response to CPA on April 30 to the original Task Order. The deadline for Task #3 proposals is Monday, May 17 at 4:00 p.m. PST.

  • Digital Marketing, Website, and Social Media Support Services RFP

    CPA is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide digital marketing, website, and social media support services as well as design services to support its day-to-day operations in support of the CPA brand as well as specific agency programs and initiatives. CPA was accepting written questions to this RFP until May 6, 2021. CPA’s responses to bidder questions can be found here. RFP proposals are due by Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. PST.

  • Request for Proposals (RFP) for Demand Response Program Implementer

    CPA is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced individuals or firms to market, implement, and scale a comprehensive Distributed Energy Resources (DER) based demand response program.   • Expansion Feasibility Studies Task Order

    CPA seeks proposals for a provider to conduct a preliminary CCA feasibility study that examines the potential costs and revenues should selected cities join CPA. The results of the study will inform the selection of a subset of those cities to be the subject of full feasibility assessments in Summer 2021, and a second round of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to be conducted in 2022. CPA was accepting written questions until April 13 at 4:00 p.m. PST. CPA’s responses to the written questions can be found here. An addendum to the Task Order was issued on Friday, April 16, 2021. Task Order proposals are due by Tuesday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. PST.

  • 2020 DAC-GT and CS-GT Request for Offers (RFO)

    CPA is seeking proposals for new, in-front-of-the-meter renewable energy resources for its Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff (DAC-GT) and its Community Solar Green Tariff (CS-GT) programs. Resources must be located in eligible disadvantaged communities. Stakeholders who are not prepared to submit to the 2020 DAC-GT and CS-GT RFO, but who are interested in future RFO cycles, are encouraged to respond to a Request for Information (RFI).
