The Power Response Multifamily Community Program incentivizes properties and their residents to work together to reduce energy.
CPA’s Power Response Multifamily Community Program is an incentivized energy-saving opportunity for eligible multifamily buildings. The Program provides smart thermostats and financial incentives to building owners and their residents for participating in the Power Response Multifamily Community Program. When energy use is higher than seasonally projected, together, you can save energy to lower costs, create healthier communities and a cleaner grid.
When CPA Power Response customers adjust their energy use, together they are helping build cleaner and more resilient communities.
Together, CPA Power Response participants can reduce 800,000 kilowatt hours of energy. That is equivalent to taking 100 homes off the grid for a year.
HOW IT WORKS
The property will lead the installation of the free smart thermostats which automatically adjust throughout the year when an Energy Saving Event is called. The smart thermostats will help residents use less energy when cooling and heating spaces, without experiencing uncomfortable temperature changes. Properties will receive an incentive for assisting residents with enrollment and completing the installation of smart thermostats. In addition, incentives will be provided for the continued participation of residents in the Power Response Multifamily Community Program.
