Launch of $23 Million in Incentives Available for Electric Vehicle
Chargers in Southern California

Clean Power Alliance is accelerating California’s transition to a clean transportation future through our partnership with the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) to make sure there is always a place to plug in across our 32 Southern California communities.

The Southern California Level 2 Incentive Project provides rebate incentives of up to $6000 to purchase and install new electric vehicle charging stations in Los Angeles County for qualifying businesses, multi-family properties, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

The program launched on April 5 and within a few hours reached program capacity, indicating a strong need for electric vehicle charging stations across Los Angeles County. However, interested parties can still apply to be added to a waitlist.

Founded in 2017, Clean Power Alliance is the locally operated electricity provider for 30 cities across Los Angeles County and Ventura County, as well as the unincorporated areas of both counties. CPA is the fifth largest electricity provider in California and the single largest provider of 100% renewable energy to customers in the nation, serving approximately three million customers via one million customer accounts, providing clean renewable energy at competitive rates.
