Opt Out Form
Clean Power Alliance is proud to bring clean, renewable power choices to communities across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. However, if you would like to opt out of Clean Power Alliance and remain with SCE, we strive to make it as easy as possible. You can opt out using the form below or by calling us at 888-585-3788.
Tips & guidance
You must have already received an enrollment notice in order to opt out.
Customers who opt out before or within the first 60 days of Clean Power Alliance service may return to Clean Power Alliance at any time.
SCE requires customers who opt out after the first 60 days of Clean Power Alliance service to complete their Advance Notice to Return Form. You may also be prohibited by SCE from returning to Clean Power Alliance for twelve months.
If you started service over 60 days ago
If you would like to opt out of Clean Power Alliance after 60 or more days, SCE needs more time and information to plan for your return to their service. They require that you complete their Six Month Advance Notice to Return to Bundled Service form in addition to our standard opt out form (above). You can choose two different pathways to return to SCE service:
Return to SCE service on your next meter read date following five business days from your request. During your first six months back with SCE, you will be subject to SCE’s transitional bundled rates, which are the market rate for electricity. This rate could be lower or higher than standard rates and is subject to change throughout the six month period. After six months, you will be returned to standard rates. To select this option, fill out the Clean Power Alliance opt out web form (or give us a call at 888-585-3788) and complete the SCE Advance Notice to Return Form. Write “please return immediately” on the top of your Advance Notice to Return Form and submit it via fax, email, or mail to the address listed on the form.
Give SCE six months advance notice that you would like to return to their service. You can continue service with Clean Power Alliance during SCE's waiting period. After six months, you will be transferred to SCE’s standard bundled rates. You will not be subject to any transitional bundled rates.
